Blogging Beats Jogging!

So instead of going for a run, I read through many blogs that have been recommended to me. Wow! I was critical of blogging when the trend began. I thought -- who puts random thoughts out into the universe for strangers to read and comment on? Well, I am a convert and fan, now! The sites I have come to love are mostly about motherhood and children. I have found amazing blogs from some of the most creative people I could imagine! These women think of the best ideas, create beautiful things and share inspiration daily! So if you ever want a good excuse for skipping that run, try blogging instead of jogging!

here are a few site I found recently that have me hooked!

Grandparents Rock

Lily loves her grandparents! And I know the feeling is mutual! As a mom, it is so magical to see the special bond between a child and his/her grandparents! They have so much to teach our little ones. Mimi has introduced Lily to all things shinny. And, Ga is always teaching Lily about new sounds, textures, books - and keeping a close eye on her development. And Ga-pa, well -- he can do no wrong! He is the go-to-guy for walks outdoors. One of the greatest blessings of the past 14 months has been the joy Lily has brought to so many, including her grandparents!

On another note - I am so IN LOVE with my family. Lily is so much fun. I cant image life without her giggles and games. And, Papa is so sweet with her. At night, we have family dance parties and play peek-a-boo. Izzy even gets in on the fun! My little life is such a blessing right now -- always has been! (all except these gosh-awful braces!)

God Babies

We all agree that babies are a gift from God, but this trio is truly heaven sent (in my eyes, anyhow). I am Maisie's godmother (she is the oldest in the photo) and her mom is Lily's god mother. And, Harrison -- well, he will be my son in law on day (no pressure)! So these bathing beauties are super special to us and it is such a gift that our families get to spend so much time together. They live in St. Louis, but God continues to put us in the same places at the same time so we can watch the little ones grow!

Here they are swimming in Abuela's pool in Homeastead.

What a Lady!

Lily is becoming such a lady -- she loves bows, jewelery and now purses! This weekend she fell in love with a "must have bag" and would not let it go! She even went to sleep with in! Now, anything with a handle becomes a beloved purse! So fun to have a girly-girl!

Lily in the City

We finally found a way to play in the water while living downtown! Lily loved this morning splishing and splashing in the carport. And, Izzy got a bath at the same time! Well done Stones. Enjoy a few pics of Miss Lily......
