Starbucks Saves The Day: Win A Prize

I admit it, sometimes I think life would be a lot less chaotic without the responsibility of our dog, Izzy! You all told me, "once the baby comes, you will forget all about Izzy." And, I do sometimes.

But, today she ran away and without hesitation I whisked Lily into the car and drove around the city looking for her. Imagine this -- I am in PJ's, flip flops and hot rollers. Lily is in PJ's, no shoes and munching on a breakfast bar (doing her part to yell "Issie" out the window).
We did not find her. We were very sad. But returned home to finish getting dressed.

Exiting the house I saw a nice man walking his very big dog and asked "any chance you saw a golden retriever this morning". He says.......
I did not. But I was just in Starbucks and a man there said he found a dog this morning and took him to the local vet's office.

Whoo-hoo! We jump back into the car to fetch our Izzy! She was very happy to see us, and looked only a little sorry for her early-morning escape!

I guess all girls need to escape and find adventure from time to time!

Thank goodness for good people and Starbucks!

WIN A PRIZE: Write a comment here and you will be entered into a drawing for a $5 Starbucks gift card!

Good morning!
First off, I promise I’m not spam. I’m with Turner Publishing and we have a book titled “Historic Photos of St. Petersburg” that we were hoping might interest you. I’m going around to all the bloggers asking if they’d like to receive a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for a possible review on their blog. This book is a 10x10 gift book showing a pictorial narrative of St. Petersburg through beautiful photos pulled from archives (some have never before been viewed). If you are interested, please email me with your address and I’ll have one shipped out to you right away. If you have any questions, you can visit our website at www.turnerpublishing.com or give me a call at the number listed below. We'd appreciate any feedback given and would love the opportunity to work with you! I appreciate the time you've given my email and hope to hear from you soon!
Thanks so much,
Liz Chenery

I don't want your money, but it is great to hear that Izzy made it home. Copper is looking forward to an Xmas play date with Izzy and licking food off of Lily.

Does the book on St. Pete include pictures of the "benches" and then the bums sleeping on them?
